Every meaningful venture has a defining moment — shaped not by strategy, but by love. For Vani, that moment began quietly at home with a small dog named Luci.
A Lhasa Apso cross with a warm and affectionate nature, Luci was more than a companion. She brought a sense of comfort and connection that left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Through Luci, Vani discovered something deeper than pet ownership — she began to understand the emotional bond between humans and animals, built on trust, intuition, and unconditional care.
When Luci had her first litter, Vani chose to keep Kalu, a spirited and strong-willed pup whose personality offered a different kind of learning. Kalu challenged routines and required patience and understanding in ways that would later shape Vani's path.
In time, Kalu had a litter of her own. While most of the puppies were adopted into loving homes, one named Punti was returned. The family welcomed her back without hesitation, completing a rare three-generation household that became central to Vani's life.
Each dog brought a unique presence into the home, yet together they deepened Vani's sense of responsibility and emotional connection. It was Kalu, however, who played the most defining role in shaping her future.
Grooming her was not easy. It demanded patience, sensitivity, and an ability to read discomfort without force. In learning how to care for Kalu, Vani began to see grooming not simply as a task, but as a form of communication built on trust.
What began as necessity slowly evolved into passion, and eventually into purpose.
Alongside this personal journey, Vani pursued her academic ambitions with focus and discipline. After completing her schooling in India, she moved to London to study law and graduated with an LLB in 2013.
She then continued her education in Bangalore, specialising in Family and Child Law — an area grounded in care and human relationships.
In 2015, she returned to Nepal to join her family business, gaining valuable experience in operations and management.
Despite her professional growth, her connection to animals remained constant. In 2018, Vani relocated to Australia, where she immersed herself in animal welfare.
She volunteered with organisations such as POOPS, RSPCA, and Guide Dogs, gaining deeper insight into animal behaviour and the importance of compassionate care.
Determined to turn her passion into a profession, she trained at TAFE and began working in Brisbane as an assistant groomer. During this time, she developed practical skills and learned to approach each animal with patience and awareness.
Her journey later brought her back to London, where she worked in a premium grooming environment and refined her expertise further. Working with a diverse range of breeds and clients, she developed a careful and thoughtful approach that balanced technical skill with emotional understanding.
In 2024, Vani made a deeply personal decision to return to Nepal to care for Kalu in her later years. It was a full circle moment, rooted in loyalty and love.
Committed to continuous growth, she sought advanced training internationally. She studied at SD Grooming Academy in Seoul and later learned Asian Fusion grooming techniques under Pet Icon Master Giang in Ho Chi Minh City.
These experiences expanded her perspective and allowed her to combine global standards with her own intuitive approach.
